Why GhostVault exists.
Your name, address, phone, and relatives are for sale on 500+ data broker sites right now, and the people who profit from it hope you never notice. We built GhostVault to make removing yourself as easy as it already is to be added.
The problem
The data-broker industry is estimated at $280B annually, spanning 4,000+ companies that compile over 240M consumer profiles from public records, app trackers, and purchased datasets. These profiles get re-sold to advertisers, background check sites, spam call operations, and identity thieves, usually for cents per lookup.
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), strengthened by SB 362 in 2024, gives Californians (and anyone any broker processes California data for) a legal right to demand their data be deleted. The catch: each broker has a different opt-out process, different verification emails, and most re-list you within 30–60 days. Doing it yourself takes 40–60 hours the first time, and then it's an ongoing chore.

What we do
We're a registered CCPA authorized agent. When you sign up, we:
- Scan 500+ people-search and data-broker sites to find where you're exposed
- Send formal deletion demands citing CCPA / SB 362 in your name, within 24 hours
- Track compliance, most brokers honor valid requests within 14–45 days
- Re-scan every month and re-submit when brokers re-list you
- Monitor 12+ breach databases for new leaks of your email and passwords
